Tell me a story

my words grow few

nothing permeates my foul mood

meaningless chatter is nothing more

Please, just tell me a story.

make it a good one

Weave a tale of heroics & half-truths

that Inspire me to listen.

show me something worthwhile,

Bring me back to earth

go ahead, Tell me a Story…

Peace, Love, and Happiness…

In every age, mothers will send a son off to find his soul, his worth, his legacy, the meaning of life. She prays he will find faith, courage, truth, a keen sense of history and his place in it, developing the arts of observation and perseverance, joy, peace, and love. And when these are forged in a man, her heart swells with so much love and joy she thinks she will burst. He has seen the world with new eyes, with a new sense of the Creator and of the magnificence of His creation. The common indomitable spirit that it takes to be Truly Human, in the root sense of the word, is found in strangers who become friends and part of the tenderness of the universal family. Humble, pure, fearless, sensitive, giving, loyal, tried by fire and steel, he returns a different and better man. And the world is a better place because of him.
